Ion Carbonitriding Process Introduction:

Ion Carbonitriding is a Chemical Heat Treatment process in which a carbon- and nitrogen-containing gas is introduced into a vacuum vessel, glow discharge generated between the workpiece (cathode) and the anode is used to simultaneously infiltrate carbon and nitrogen, and Carburizing is the main component.

Ion Carbonitriding is a new ion Chemical Heat Treatment process that has emerged in foreign countries in recent Year years, and is called PLASOX technology or IONITOX technology in foreign countries. It is based on ion Nitrocarburizing hardening treatment, and then performs an ion oxidation treatment to form a dense black Fe3O4 film on the surface of the bright white compound layer. After the Ion (NC+O) composite treatment, both the Hardness and Wear Resistance of the steel surface are improved, and the Corrosion Resistance energy of the steel surface is also improved. The Corrosion Resistance energy of the surface of the processed workpiece can exceed that of hard chromium plating treatment, and it solves the problem of environmental pollution caused by salt bath Nitrocarburizing + polishing + oxidation treatment (PQP technology).
