Structure Introduction

1. Furnace body: High Temperature electrode Salt Bath Furnace is a rectangular structure, the outer shell is welded from angle steel and steel plate.

2. Furnace liner: The inner shell is made of steel plate, and the salt bath tank inside the inner liner is composed of standard Energy Saving bricks, which can prevent molten salt from penetrating into the thermal insulation layer and outside the salt tank, and is easy to be lifted out for repair when the salt tank is damaged.

3. Electrode: High Temperature electrode Salt Bath Furnace electrode is inserted from the bottom side of the salt tank, one surface contacts the bath salt, and the other three surfaces are buried in Firebrick . The above structure achieves the purpose of extending the service life of the electrode.

4. Water cooling jacket: The electrode is specially designed to avoid short-circuiting between the two electrodes caused by slag deposition. The electrode on the outer side of the inner tank has a water cooling jacket. When molten salt flows outward along the electrode, it solidifies upon contact with the water cooling jacket, which can prevent salt leakage.

5. An exhaust hood is installed on the furnace side, connected to the exhaust pipe of the workshop, to remove the harmful gas generated by the electrode Salt Bath Furnace .

Working Principle

High Temperature electrode Salt Bath Furnace uses salts as heating agents. According to different working temperatures, salts or mixed salts with different compositions can be selected. Salts are non-conductive before melting, therefore Salt Bath Furnace starting electrodes must be used for melting during use. Since current passing through the conductive molten salt continuously generates heat, the molten state can be maintained. Because under the action of electromagnetic force, the molten salt is continuously circulated through Natural Convection and electromagnetic stirring, so the workpiece can be heated quickly and uniformly.
