Stress Relief Annealing is also called Low Temperature annealing, which mainly eliminates residual stress in castings, forgings, weldments, cold stamping parts and mechanical processing.
The process is a heat treatment process in which the workpiece is slowly heated to the stress relief process temperature, held for a period of time, and then cooled with the furnace. The stress relief heating temperature is generally low.
It is suitable for blank parts and parts that have undergone cutting processing. It can eliminate residual stress in blanks and parts, Stable stabilize workpiece size and shape, and reduce the tendency of deformation and cracking of parts during cutting processing and use.
