For re-use of new or long-idled (more than half Year ) equipmentBogie Furnace Furnace drying must be carried out to remove the moisture inside Furnace Lining , improve insulation performance, and strengthen the Furnace Lining structure Strength . The Furnace Lining after furnace drying can also reduce the phenomenon of Refractory Material cracking and damage to Furnace Lining caused by rapid Liter temperature changes. For newly built Bogie Furnace Furnace Lining , it must be naturally dried in air of not lower than 5°C for 2-3 days and nights before furnace drying can be carried out.
The oven process shall be carried out according to the following table:
Room temperature ~ 200°C, proceed with 12 Hour
200℃~400℃, carry out 12 Hour
400℃~600℃, proceed for 8 Hour
600℃~800℃ , proceed for 4 Hour
800℃~1000℃, carry out 2 Hour
Note:
1. When the furnace temperature is below 400℃, slightly open Furnace Door to let the moisture inside the furnace evaporate out.
2. When the furnace temperature is above 400℃, turn off Furnace Door .
3. Bogie Furnace After the oven drying is completed, wait until the furnace temperature drops below 100℃, use a 500-volt megohmmeter to measure the insulation resistance between phase to phase and phase to ground. The resistance value should not be lower than 0.5 megaohms.
