What is perlite: Perlite is a raw mineral material for new-type thermal insulation and heat insulation materials that is widely used internationally. After High Temperature electric furnace expansion, the expansion process of perlite ore sand is fully controlled by six microcomputers Automatic , which makes the surface of perlite ore sand form a hardened shell, the outer wall is closed, the internal crystalline water gasifies, expands the ore sand into a circular hollow sphere structure, and forms closed-cell perlite products. This product has very high Strength , and its water absorption rate is quite low, only 50%-85% (traditional products are 360%-480%), the closed-cell rate is more than 95%, the ball-forming rate is 90%, the particle size is 0.1-1.5mm, the bulk density is 100-250kg/m2, the thermal conductivity is 0.047-0.054w/m.k, the cylinder compression Strength is 38%-46%, and the refractoriness is 1280-1360℃. It is easy to disperse in cementing materials such as Refractory Material , cement, resin, water glass and gypsum, especially when used in internal and external wall liquid systems, it will make the flow performance of thermal insulation mortar very good.

In the building materials industry, closed-cell perlite can be used in thermal insulation, sound insulation, heat insulation, internal and external wall thermal insulation mortar, various lightweight decorative panels, ceiling panels, GRC wall panels, hollow slats, and composite wall materials. At present, closed-cell perlite has been used in high-rise building partitions and intermediate doors in the United States, replacing traditional partitions, and plays a role in fire prevention and thermal insulation.
